2009 Chapter 18: Tireness
Just came back from the 24-hours competition. Man, it was tough. We only had 24-hours to make a video, and that includes the planning, editing, etc. For my group, all the useless guys were plying computer and watching animes while me and another Sec 3 girl try to think of ideas. In the end, we spent 10-hours thinking about different storylines (we had to redo many times because our story was not relevant). Our final product was a failed video about a guy who likes to litter, and a roach that has no skills in acting but has to say many lines, and how the guy changes his ways and then finally punches the roach (for humour effects). And, in case you are wondering, the theme for the whole competition was 'revolution'.
As promised, I will talk about my new blog skin, but there is nothing much to say here. I chose this skin because it had the colour of the sky, and the picture at the top was just amazing to me at that point of time. The girl in the picture is Kamio Misuzu (with the shorter hairstyle seen near the end of the anime), who is one of the reincarnation of the last winged being, Kannabi no Mikoto, who was cursed by
Buddhist monks before her death. As the soul of a winged being is too much for a normal human body to contain, Misuzu is fated to die young. And so, the main character
Kunisaki Yukito, wants to find a way to save her and so transforms into the crow in the picture which Misuzu later found and named 'Sora'. But of course, Misuzu died in the end.
I am actually kinda hooked on the VOCALOID series now, some of their songs are not bad, and my favourite so far is the 'Daughter of Evil' song series, plus 'KOKORO -Circle of Hearts-'. Both are quite touching, for 'Daughter of Evil', though you may find the first song lame, you will start to get touched by the storyline and the sacrifices Len actually made for Rin when you move on to the second part, 'Servant of Evil'. There are altogether 4 parts in the original, and 3 fan made additions, that tells the story from other characters mentioned in songs (Hatsune Miku, KAITO and MEIKO). You may want to search YouTube for it. If you can find 'Daughter of Evil', it should be easy for you to find all 7 parts. 'KOKORO -Circle of Hearts-' has a sad storyline about an emotionless robot that finally found a heart, but realised that she was lonely. In the end, she managed to get a companion, but died later on (it was said that she died because KOKORO was too much for her to take, but I suspect that it was because she became like a human being, and like every other human, she died). Both are from Kagamine Rin and Len. Their songs are not bad, and often tells a story altogether. I especially like it when they have a duet together. ^^
Yesterday, I had my first heated arguement with someone. The last one I ever had one like that was when I was with my primary school friends, but other than that, I never had any in Evergreen yet. And finally I had one, but it was not really a good thing. It was with Feito and Caro, so obviously I was losing as it was 2 against 1. It was during CCD, and it was about our views on elderly homes and orphanages, with me thinking that going to both would be good, while the two of tem just wants orpanage. I told them about the advantages and disadvantages of both but slowly, it became more of me arguing about elderly homes being better than orphanages (no idea how it got there). I finally ended it with "Nobody here understands me" (which was true, but I had no idea why it came out of my mouth in the first place), and Feito acted like how my primary school friends would, and she did it by cancelling the word 'orpanage' she written on the worksheet (something, which I realised, I could still not understand it... Maybe it's because that is not something I would do...). Teana was seated behind and commented that she was glad she was not sitting with us. Later, we apologised to each other, and Feito said that she took it as a debate as she was thinking of points to rebutt me (however her attitude was that of an argument...).
